Boo am I? - Halloween Game

Bring your next Halloween gathering to life with the frenzied race to figure out who is who as your kids act out Halloween characters for their friends in a race against the clock. Enjoy this fabulous Halloween twist on the all-time favourite game of charades.

Number of players:
8+

What you need:
small pieces of paper
pens
white balloons

Activity:

Players write clues about Halloween characters on small slips of paper, for example, for a witch the clue might be, “Rides on a broomstick.”

Slip these pieces of paper inside white balloons. Blow up the balloons and put them to the side.

Split the kids into two teams.

Give each team their opposing teams balloons with the clues inside.

The first player has to grab a balloon, find a way to pop it, read the clue inside and act out the clues until their team guesses correctly.

As each team guesses correctly, their next player grabs the next balloon.

The team who finishes their balloons first is the winner.

Play for Kids and time for FUN!  Lets build a tepee for your little cowboys and Indians?

Kids Play Time TepeeHow to make a play 4 kids toddler tepee

1  Take six bamboo poles in your hand at once. Wrap three rubber bands around the top of the poles about four inches down. Stand the poles up and separate them so they stand alone in a tepee shape.

2  Lay canvas fabric or a bed sheet out flat. Fold it in half lengthwise. Then fold in half diagonally so it forms a triangle. With a fabric marker or pencil draw a half-circle on the top of the triangle. Draw a matching smaller half-circle at the bottom.

3  Cut along the lines you drew for the half-circles. Cut away the excess fabric. Unfold the fabric and lay out flat. Decorate the canvas fabric or sheet with paint as you wish. Let the paint dry.

4  Drape the fabric over the bamboo posts and position so it fits all the way around. Use straight pins to hold in place. Measure eight inches up from the bottom of the fabric and place a straight pin in place to mark the spot. Do this for the material along all six posts. Remove the fabric from the posts and place on a flat surface. Sew plastic rings into place with embroidery thread where the straight pins were placed.

5  Measure down an inch from the top edge of the tepee fabric and an inch inward and make a mark with a fabric pencil. Make a total of six marks two inches apart down the side of the tepee. Repeat on the Play 4 Kids Toddler Tepeeopposite side of the tepee entrance flap. These marks are for the grommets.

6  Cut the holes for the grommets and set in place. Lace ribbon through the grommet holes. Place the fabric over the bamboo poles. Stick the bottom of the bamboo poles through the plastic rings on the inside of the canvas fabric. Tighten the ribbon and tie in a bow to hold the fabric in place.
